Ash & Chris really made this the most amazing, relaxed celebration and nothing was ever too hard or too much effort! Time and time again Ash went above and beyond my expectations and was meticulous with her detailing and an absolute angel. Chris is an absolute incredible musician and blew us away with his rendition of ‘our’ songs and really made us feel super special! They both absolutely nailed the lead up to the wedding, hit it out of the park for the wedding and blew our minds for the whole event! Every single guest said how amazing every aspect of the afternoon and night was, which was just a testimony of how amazing these two are at this type of celebration. To think of our wedding without Ash and Chris just wouldn’t be the same and we are forever grateful that we got to experience our mini ‘festival’ elopement with them".

Ash and Chris at Under the Moon did such a wonderful job organising and setting up our glamping experience. The girls and I had no idea what was instore for us until we arrived at our destination on the day and we were blown away. We didn’t have to take anything except our toiletries and clothes, the tents were amazing and the beds were so comfy. At night time once the stars came out the festoon lights were so pretty and we felt like we weren’t camping at all! All those little details that you don’t think of Ash and Chris had it covered. We spent the night playing cards and games and the next day we woke up without the added stress of packing up, they do it all. “Under the Moon Elopement’s we don’t even know where to start with our praise for how amazing you are. When we contacted Ash and Chris we were on our 3rd attempt at trying to plan a wedding. The stress was too much and we just kept giving up. We joked about just eloping, but one day I just decided to google Melbourne elopement’s to see what was out there and that’s how I found Under the Moon. My gosh I’m glad we did. From our first conversation with Ash and Chris they understood exactly what we were after, we let Ash take the reins when it came to the styling. I simply told her the vibe we were after and she did it all. From flowers, to food and hair and make up, the photographer, the celebrant, the music it was all organised for us. "Under the Moon did an incredible job at my cousins wedding. I definitely enjoyed it the most and I have Macedonian in-laws so we’ve been to a lot of weddings. This wedding I can say was my favourite by far, not only was it very eco friendly, but it was incredibly stunning and had everything you’d dream your  wedding would have. "We eloped on Friday the 13th of March and none of it would have been possible without Ash, Chris and the rest of the team (Jackie Mac our celebrant, Hannah our photographer, our hair and makeup stylists & Dear Delilah our Florist). Ash organised it all for us asking questions along the road and getting to know us on a personal level. Mind you this was in a different state, with no previous meetings. We both work night shift and Ash worked around our schedules and my late reply's to help me make this the best day of our lives. We had found Under the Moon Elopements while searching on google for a wedding that suited both our personalities and poof there it was. Ash took care of us the entire way and was extremely helpful in all my many little changes along the way. Her Husband Chris played live music for us on the day. I chose 3 songs for him to learn and sing, one being a rather difficult Italian song (mind you he didn’t speak a word of Italian). He stepped up to the challenge, practised and worked on the music up until the wedding day and it was amazing! He has true talent and I could not have asked for more. We road tripped from Sydney to Victoria with our dog Lola and had a road trip wedding / honeymoon. Once we got there on the day it felt as if we had already met before, it was comfortable and relaxed. Even when I felt a bit stressed in the lead up on the day... Ash honestly just made me laugh. "Our experience couldn't have been better with Under the Moon Elopements. We weren't a couple who wanted to get overwhelmed in the planning of our wedding and we didn't want it to be a stressful experience, that's why we went with Under the Moon and we couldn't be happier that we did! The process was so easy, it started with a lovely phone call with Ash where we could ask all the questions we needed the answers to straight away. The phone call felt like we knew each other, she understood what we envisioned for our wedding day and she was able to give us a rough quote within a few days. We wanted to see the property before we finalised anything and we were able to meet Ash & Chris at there. We fell in love with the venue, the views were stunning and the whole vibe was more than we expected! Ash & Chris couldn't have been more accommodating with the constant questions we had for them that day, after our meeting, we locked in the date and we were beyond excited. Ash & Chris looked after everything right up until the day and on the day of the wedding they were making sure everything ran smoothly for us! They made us think of things we hadn't thought of and when we were feeling overwhelmed with things they invited us over to talk everything out and reassured us. They liaised with all the vendors we wanted, they gave us options and opinions. Their opinions were vital to our day, all of the vendors that were a part of our wedding were incredible and truly the best around town. Planning our wedding was a breeze with as Ash & Chris worked with everyone that was involved so that we could relax as much as possible during the process. I had questions for Ash days before and she was able to answer them for me. On the morning of the wedding, I could relax with my bridesmaids and get ready. The whole process was so fun from the start to finish!! Our wedding was absolutely spectacular and the guests were in awe of how our day turned out, we still hear from people about how awesome our wedding was and we are still on cloud nine. Lets start from the beginning. Myself and Nick are one relaxed, fun filled couple wanting to get hitched locally but really didn't have the time to plan it nor were we set on a location. We had heard of Under the Moon and made our first enquiry. Not long after we received a phone call from Ash. Ash was amazing; she told us nearly everything we wanted to hear and took the time to take in what we wanted our day to be about. From the moment we enquired we felt joy! We had a year to dream of our big day with very minimal planning to do. Throughout that year we heard from Ash & Chris, who made it all soooo simple and smooth to plan. Leading up to the big day, let's say a few months beforehand we had more communication, any questions I had, even if I asked the same question numerous times I would instantly get an answer. Ash kept me calm and took control of pretty much everything! What more could a bride ask for. We booked the mountain location, without even viewing it, I had full trust that Ash understood how i wanted my big day and what vibe i was going for. Upon arrival on my wedding day I was blown away, the location, the set up and everything about the venue couldn't be more perfect, it was exactly what I had imagined! Ash and Chris were there to coordinate and help throughout the day. The location was magical, all my guests were welcome to stay in the cabins, and glamping tents. We partied, danced, laughed and sat by the fire with all of our loved ones, it truly was more then what we expected. Waking up in the morning with a view overlooking the mountains was spectacular. We thank you once again Under the Moon for giving us our wedding day that we dreamt off!

My husband and I are so lucky to have found Under the Moon Elopements. While making initial wedding plans, the idea of having the big traditional wedding just didn't feel like us. So we started searching for a wild wedding location, where we could be surrounded by nature and focus on what was most important, the two of us and celebrating our love. Under the Moon ticked all the boxes! The planning process could not have been easier. I put all of my trust in Ash & Chris, and I'm so glad that I did. We arrived at the location on the day of our wedding and every detail was better than we ever could have imagined. Both Ash & Chris were buzzing around quietly in the background throughout the entire day, to ensure our day ran smoothly without us having to lift a finger. All of our 20 guests said how amazing and special our wedding was, with multiple guests saying it was the best wedding they have ever attended. We cannot speak highly enough of your business! Planning a wedding through the unknown of COVID is terrifying but the support, encouragement and assistance we received put Rob and I completely at ease! You put the magic back into planning! Ash - all the back and forth with vendors to secure new dates did not go unnoticed! It was no easy feat but you put your all into making sure we got a day as soon as possible without having to compromise on our vision! Annnnd that brings us to the vision! Everything was better than we imagined! The property is stunning!!!!! The barn styling was a dream come true! The day ran without a hitch! I couldn’t of pictured a more perfect day. Rob and I felt like we were being greeted by family and felt so ease! Thank you so much for being a part of it! I could not recommend your business enough!

After attempting to organise two postponed (and Ultimately cancelled) weddings we were looking at something that was “set and forget” to get this third attempt off the ground. From the initial phone call with Chris and then Ash, both were extremely understanding about our wishes to sort out an elopement in a very short time frame. Both Ash and Chris were super empathetic about our situation and went above and beyond to make planning our special day something to be even more memorable. The entire process from initial contact through to clean up the day afterwards was seamless. The ability for Ash to organise all of our vendors and liaise between them was such a dream and took a huge amount of stress out of the process. Ash was open to all of my suggestions and helped steer us towards the most appropriate vendors. Ash spoke very highly of all of her vendors and it was only reciprocated back by all of them. There were a couple of occasions on the day where I saw them all come together and enjoy the atmosphere of the day by joining in with all the festivities. When referring to the set up of our venue, we were in want of nothing. Everything was set out immaculately with none of our guests requiring assistance for those last minute requirements. On reflection, whilst this third attempt was dramatically different from our originally imagined wedding, from 90 people down to 8, the intimate nature of this wedding and the tranquillity of the venue we had (the mountain location), turned this wedding into a truly magical experience. The night finished with out guests sitting on the veranda, watching a storm roll through the valley with the gentle lullaby of rain on the tin roof interspersed with the crackle of the fire inside. Reflecting the journey to the start of our married life; amidst all the chaos of the last couple of years trying to organise weddings and negotiating vendors (and COVID restrictions), finding Under the moon took all the stress away allowing us the freedom to just BE, and relish the moment. To summarise, We are over the moon with under the moon.

To say our wedding was the most perfect day is an understatement. From day one of contacting Ash and Chris it was smooth sailing, Ash took so much stress away and made the whole planning process so easy. She was so accommodating to everything we wanted from flowers to makeup and hair nothing was too difficult for her to deliver. The location was just picturesque and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Still now we have people telling us it was the best wedding they have been too, the location, the bon fire, the Glamping tents and cabins. It was the perfect setting to be able to go into the night and really be able to enjoy every moment. People always said to me the day is so rushed and before you know it, it’s over and you haven’t even got to talk to everyone. I felt ours was so completely different, it was calm, relaxed, no rushing/stressing and having the venue all night and into the morning allowed us to really relax, enjoy and be with our loved ones. We can’t thank you enough Ash and Chris. One very happy married couple here and thank you so much for all that you did.

There are no words to convey my appreciation for Ash! From the very beginning, Ash was attentive and enthusiastic to understand what we wanted to create for our dream wedding day and helped to bring it to life on the truly magical property in Gippsland. From our very first interaction over email up until the wedding day, Ash always brought a genuine and kind approach to everything. Throughout the entire year of planning, Ash remained honest and realistic about costs and logistics, but still managed to far exceed our expectations. She made sure we knew exactly what to expect in terms of prices and broke everything down for us so there were no surprises. On the day of the wedding, she ensured everything ran smoothly and seamlessly, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment without any stress. Ash's attention to detail and dedication to making our day perfect truly shines through in her work. She is not only a talented wedding planner but also a genuinely lovely person to work with. She is meticulous with her work and there wasn’t a detail that wasn’t thought out. Ash coordinated 70 guests (approximately 40 of whom stayed overnight), 2 food truck vendors, florist, glamping tents, furniture hire, a bar van and a 6 piece band to perfection! Ash organised the set up of everything the morning of the wedding, making sure everything was absolutely perfect, as well as handling any changes I threw at her on the day. The beautiful backdrop of Baw Baw National park, combined with the rustic set up provided a wedding location to truely remember. The added bonus of having no end time meant we could party with our guests well into the night! It has been several days since the wedding and all of our guests are still telling us of what an amazing day it was. Not only will we remember this day forever, but so will so many of our guests! Thanks to her expertise and hard work, we were able to have the wedding of our dreams and create memories that will last a lifetime! I cannot recommend Ash and Under The Moon Elopements highly enough and would choose to work with her again in a heartbeat. Not many brides say that they would love to do everything all over again, but with Ash I would do all the hard-yards again to be able to relive that day over and over! Under The Moon is the kind of venue you only dream of and Ash and Chris are masters at not just understanding your vision, but making it come to life in ways you couldn’t even imagine. To start, the venue itself is gorgeous - Imagine sweeping mountain views, the most incredible background for photos, and an atmosphere that will leave your guests talking about your wedding for years to come. We didn't even see the grounds until the day of (on Ash's suggestion) and honestly, It was the most incredible “wow!” moment arriving on the day of our wedding - The surprise made it even better! When en it comes to organisation, planning and the day itself - They couldn't be better. We had no stress of chasing vendors up and dealing with much of that - Ash and Chris took our (admittedly pretty limited) vision, and ran with it. Not only was everything incredible - from food, and flowers, to the hair and makeup artists - the entire day ran flawlessly - from our perspective, not a single thing wasn’t perfect. Our wedding was literally the best day of our lives, and Ash and Chris were key in making that happen. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone we know, because not only is the venue everything you could hope for and more, they really put an effort into understanding the couples they work with and making what I can only describe as a dream come true. Without having much of an idea how we wanted our wedding, we came across Under the Moon Elopements. As we looked into their service we could tell they were who we wanted to bring our day together. From the first enquiry, communication was great with Ash and Chris as they helped us shape our vision. If we had one goal for the planning it was to remain as stress free as possible. Ash and Chris’ experience showed as we certainly achieved that goal. Their recommendations/suggestions for all aspects such as from vendors to flowers, were brilliant as they knew what worked for us. We were able to have as much input as we wanted. Ash was also great in finding ways we could stay as close to our budget as possible. We asked questions and changed our mind almost constantly the whole way through, which they were always accomodating with. Although we knew it would be amazing, when we and the guests saw the venue firsthand it left us in awe. With mountainous backgrounds, the tents, hut, tepee, along with the themed arrangements created a feeling we’ll forever cherish. Even the drive up gives you a view to remember. There was a perfect back drop from every angle and everything we had planned came together even better than expected. Unfortunately, Ash was sick and couldn’t be there on the day but Chris was around making sure the event ran perfectly. Ash and Chris gave us the best wedding we could have asked for and then more. Our Wedding was the most magical day we could have ever imagined. From my first phonecall with Ash I knew it was going to be everything we wanted & more. We instantly clicked and I found it so easy to discuss every detail with her no matter how trivial it may have seemed. Through our thousands of text messages our day came together perfectly. The venue is beyond amazing.... the views are breathtaking, the details and every thought to the accommodation onsite, the amazing fire pit for all our guests to huddle at when the sun went down, the honeymoon tent was divine and had everything we needed to keep us warm and cosy on a cold night, the Hut with the huge open fire... the list really is endless with all the amazing spaces in the one location. Ash is truly amazing at her job, she coordinated everything and it all went seamlessly. No matter if I tried to stress or wanted to she assured me it would be ok. Brian & I cant thank you both enough for everything & we will never forget our special day. Our guests have said multiple times 'This was the best wedding & venue we have ever been to". We’re so grateful to Ash and Chris for being so accommodating, gracious and supportive throughout everything. They made it all so easy and stress-free, and every detail was thoughtfully considered. All the research of suitable vendors was presented to us, and all we did we pick and chose which ones suited us best. This enabled us to fully experience the day without worry. All we had to worry about was packing an overnight bag, and remembering to bring our wedding dresses! COVID really threw everything up in the air, and there was uncertainly about going ahead with our chosen day and plans. However two weeks before cancelling, they still managed to make it work (special thanks to their mums too for pitching in!). Our ceremony was intimate and beautiful, and the memories that were created are ones we will never forget. We hope to be able to visit again in the near future. Thanks again Ash and Chris!

THE MOST STUNNING WEDDING VENUE ACROSS GIPPSLAND! Honestly, from the moment we arrived at Under The Moon Elopements, we knew our venue choice was perfect for us. I felt instantly grounded and at ease in the mountain air. Our day in the mountains was perfect and Ash & Chris are the best team at pulling it all off! Our day was forecasted for 20-40mls of rain one week out and Ash went above and beyond to check in and come up with alternative arrangements. Ash & Chris think of absolutely everything which certainly put my mind at ease. Planning a wedding in the middle of COVID lockdowns was really stressful and challenging - honestly couldn't have done it without them.
